Dr. Claire-Marie Ficsor completed her undergraduate degree with honors from Wellesley College.  She graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2004 and then stayed in the Boston area to practice dentistry for two years.  In 2006, Dr. Claire-Marie Ficsor moved with her family to the Santa Barbara area where she has continued practicing and expanding her knowledge in dentistry.  Dr. Ficsor is certified in Invisialign and has recently completed continuing education in implant treatment planning, 3D dental imaging, CEREC, pediatric dentistry, and dental sleep medicine.  She enjoys caring for families with children and teenagers, and is passionate about making the dental experience as comfortable as possible for her patients.  She is married to Philip who is a professor at Westmont College.  They have one son, Sammy, and one daughter, Sophie.  Dr. Claire-Marie Ficsor is also a professionally trained classical violinist and enjoys performing and listening to music.  While attending dental school, Dr. Ficsor played in the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra.  She is an active member of the Wellesley College Alumnae Club and enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her family.
